The System Menu can be accessed by swiping up from the bottom edge of your screen. The 3D model can be simply manipulated using finger gestures:
Tap on a structure to select it. A number of buttons will appear:
Once on, tap a button again to switch it off.
When a structure is selected, the path of that structure is revealed along the top of the screen, as part of the breadcrumb trail. The parent of the highlighted structure may be selected simply by tapping on its name, and can in turn be manipulated as a structure in its entirety.
There are nine systems in Essential Anatomy; muscular, skeletal, veneral, arterial, nervous, respiratory and digestive.
Muscle layers can be added or removed by tapping the 'Add Muscle' or 'Remove Muscle' icons.
When a structure has been isolated, further features and information become available. The user can make notes and hear an audio pronunciation for that specific structure. The structure may also be examined from a number of preset views.
Returns model to original position on screen. NOTE: The Home button does not affect any hidden structures on model.
Restores all hidden structures on model. NOTE: The Refresh button does not reposition the model.
Store any scene by bookmarking it and access predefined views. Return to scene at any time by selecting it in the bookmark menu.
Select label using dynamic search function and be taken directly to that structure.
Draw on or annotate any chosen screen.
Share views from the app via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or add an image to iPhoto.
Change the app's background color, configurations, get help and turn on/off or customize the Control Menu.
Quiz yourself on any of the app's systems. Also, select subsystems to refine the content of your quiz.
Hide and/or Fade multiple structures quickly.
